Florida Pro Musica’s 10-voice a cappella ensemble, directed by Larry Kent, will perform an intimate candlelight concert in the Children’s Chapel at St. Andrew’s. This 7th annual Renaissance Christmas concert will include some familiar songs of the season plus rarely performed masterpieces of the Renaissance by Byrd, Victoria, Gallus, and Guerrero. St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church was established in Tampa in 1871. Its first service was held in the hospital building at Fort Brooke. A wooden church was erected in 1883 on the city block bounded by Marion, Twiggs, Morgan, and Madison.
